AHMC Hempcrete for Walling
AHMC Hempcrete for Walling combines AHMC’s Lime Binder, which was developed at UNSW and is manufactured in Sydney, with building-grade Australian-grown hemp hurd sourced from select local processors in NSW, Victoria, Tasmania and WA. These materials are combined on-site with sand and water to form a carbon-neutral, highly durable, breathable walling material with exceptional thermal and acoustic performance (the inclusion of sand is optional, but recommended for feature walls).
This product is the first fully Australian-manufactured hemp-lime building material certified for use in non-loadbearing wall construction in accordance with the Building Code of Australia (BCA). When installed as specified, AHMC Hempcrete provides high flexural strength and long-term moisture regulation, making it ideal for internal and external applications in sustainable building projects.
Available in 9Kg and 18Kg bags for 120L or 350L Pan mixers.
